Flight School: Photographing Birds in Flight

Prerequisite: Previous photography experience and working knowledge of your DSLR camera

This more advanced photography workshop will teach you about the habits and adaptations of the magnificent raptors that grace our skies. The class also provides clear instruction in the challenging art of photographing birds in flight. Emphasis will be on capturing images of birds in flight with a large portion of the class dedicated to an on-site field experience. Time is also set aside to learn the basics of properly processing images and reviewing and critiquing the final results. Participants are required to have a DSLR and at least a 300mm telephoto lens along with a good understanding of the manual control of it.
