Fee: $110 museum members/$160 nonmembers

A one of a kind, exciting two day studio experience with digital photography. In this workshop, you’ll explore the best ways to convert your digital color images (jpeg or tiff files) into artful creations reminiscent of the black and white prints of Ansel Adams or Edward Weston. Part of the time will be spent exploring the Desert Museum grounds and taking photographs that you can work on in class. You may also use animal skulls, sea shells or flowers to create still lifes in the studio for dramatic images. If time permits, there may be an opportunity to make a few B&W prints on an Epson inkjet printer.
